Each daughter inherits the High Brow Cat × Royal Blue Boon foundation from Betty's side, combined with Metallic Cat through Stevie Rey Von-a concentration of cutting horse excellence rarely found in modern breeding.
The Matriarch
LR Miss Blue Tunder-known around the ranch as "Betty"-is the foundation of our modern breeding program. She is the dam of three exceptional full sisters by Stevie Rey Von: Rey, Ohn, and Sheba.
Sired by the great Bet Hesa Cat (son of High Brow Cat) out of Jos Shady Lady, Betty carries traditional cutting horse foundations crossed with the most successful modern bloodlines. She had been in training with Clayton Edsall for the 2017 NRCHA Futurity when she sustained an injury-and although she returned to soundness within months, the decision was made together with Clayton to dedicate her to the broodmare band.
That decision has paid off in spades. Bred to Stevie Rey Von beginning in 2020, Betty has produced three exceptional full sisters in three different colors-with her oldest daughter, Rey, already placing 7th at the 2025 NRCHA Reno Snaffle Bit Futurity.
